- Must be incorporated as a company in India.
- Must have minimum net worth of Rs 2 crore. (Corroborated across sources; verify the figure
in the First Schedule, Part A before quoting it.)
- Must have sufficient technical, operational and financial capacity, and sound financial
condition and general character of management.
- Registers with the Board. Obligations run to the Data Principal, per s.6(8) of the Act.
- Effective 14 November 2026.
